Taxes are Paid

Why is it that when I have the worst financial year of my life I owe more income tax than ever? I try to save for retirement then I need the retirement money because I get laid off from work. Yes, my job goes to India and the IRS wants more money from me than ever because I had to dip into my IRA to survive last year. Whats up with that? I can understand paying the tax but a penalty? A penalty for being laid off?? I thought I had already paid that penalty :(

Otherwise doing fine. I have recovered from the auto accident and the insurance company gave me a whoppping 1700 dollars for my perfectly good car that will take 4000 to replace. I found out my house has something called carpenter bees that make holes in the wood of my eaves and possibly termites to boot. There is a saying that goes "if they didnt have bad luck they just wouldnt have any luck".....I am beginning to really identify with that saying lately. However one must focus on the things that DIDN'T happen last year to realize one is truly blessed. It can always be worse.

Dont have anything to add now but felt I had to say something after all i do have this blog thing.
