A Bad Week for Public Education!

Are children safe in public schools? In a word NO

This week there were two incidents in national news regarding killings in public schools. Both were in rather rural towns not the big city schools with on campus cops. Its time to lock the doors people. When school is in the staff needs to be vigilant and they need to lock the doors to the school and to each classroom during class. Only authorized persons should be allowed to walk in the halls. Don't let strangers in the building period!

Where many of us work, they require id badges to go to enter the buiilding, why? For security!! Why not offer the same security to our kids we have as adults?

Lock the doors, use identification, don't allow strangers in the building, how hard is that?
